Remote Year helps novice remote workers to travel across 20+ destinations worldwide – sourcing accommodations and workspaces to curating experiences, and providing a built-in community, allowing travelers to focus on their jobs while immersing themselves in new cultures.

I was brought in to work on a special projects division: starting a new “Learn & Travel” department with a strong focus on retreats – creating shorter trips for community members to take in their travel experiences, reflect on life journeys and move forward from their challenges with a peaceful mind and a centered heart. The content was a mixture of wellness, self-reflection and nature-based activities. We produced retreats in Portugal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Greece and South Africa while achieving an average of 94 NPS. While managing this new product, I developed all partnerships with facilitators and local vendors, and built a playbook to systemize our processes which also provided tools for success measurement.
